The Pluses and Minuses of Life

Positive: The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day!
Negative: But you gotta stay inside until the COVID goes away.

 Positive: Ummm...Oh look at this 12 season TV show!
Negative: Didn't you finish that two weeks ago?

 Positive: Okay, I'm listening to new music, it's so cool!
Negative: That 50's rock is too old school.

 Positive: ...My mask is so pretty, birds and everything!
Negative: It will be splattered with coughs and the sneezes will fling.

 Positive: I got a stack of toilet paper just last night!
Negative: You're going to run out when people will steal and fight.

 Positive: Well--I jogged about two weeks ago!
Negative: You broke your ankle and you're too scared to go to the hospital.

 Positive: My friends just chatted a lot on Zoom!
Negative: They're desperate too, they want to talk to you.

 Positive: WHAT is your problem?!
Negative: Hey, that's just how life is.

 Positive: Seriously?
Negative: Yup.

Link, Watch Out!

Hey peeps! I am back again! Anyway, my awesome friend, Leo, likes Legend of Zelda. So, I looked up what the main character, Link, looked like and I drew him. When Leo saw this he said it looked cool and I am hoping you think so too! Oh, and one more thing. If you're wondering why Blue Box (I think that's what they are called) is saying, "Watch out!" then it is because Leo sent me a video of a song on YouTube. Luiaard's Crits #1: The Book and Movie Flipped

Flipped is probably one of the best books or movies I have ever watched/read.  When they meet in second grade, Juli Baker instantly  falls  in love with her neighbor, Bryce Loski. Bryce, however, does not feel the spark. From that day forward, he tries hard to avoid Juli and keep her unpredictable-ness away. After six years, she begins to feel that she was wrong about him being the love of her life and looks beneath the surface. Unfortunately, that is just about the time that Bryce begins to think he was wrong about Juli, too.  Book:  It might be a romance, but it is a really cute book about how both of them see beneath the surface. It has a really good story even if it is a little mushy. I would give it 5 stars! Movie: I love the movie as well and I love how the director really alternated the point of view just like the author did in the book. The movie contains less details, but it is much more visual and it is as amazing as the book.

Hey again, peeps! Today I drew my first OC (In case you don't know, that is an "original character"). I am especially proud of this piece of work, it is an improvement from what I usually draw. Here is her "profile." Age: 11 Hobbies: Stargazing, playing in the snow Food & drinks: Mushrooms and tea Personality: Curious, adventurous  Aura is 11 years old and she lives in a cold climate. She is always curious and loves snowflakes. When Aura is not frolicking in the snow, she is in the forest. She likes to eat mushrooms and drink tea. When it’s not snowing, she observes the night sky and records the stars she sees.
