Hello and welcome to Tweening at Home! Here, I blog about my everyday tween life and some tips you tweens out there might want to know.
Lumos!
Hello my fellow witches and wizards! Today I felt like drawing Harry Potter. SO many people LOVE Harry Potter, and I hope you do too! Let me know what your favorite book and character is in the comments below. Thanks!
Flipped is probably one of the best books or movies I have ever watched/read. When they meet in second grade, Juli Baker instantly falls in love with her neighbor, Bryce Loski. Bryce, however, does not feel the spark. From that day forward, he tries hard to avoid Juli and keep her unpredictable-ness away. After six years, she begins to feel that she was wrong about him being the love of her life and looks beneath the surface. Unfortunately, that is just about the time that Bryce begins to think he was wrong about Juli, too. Book: It might be a romance, but it is a really cute book about how both of them see beneath the surface. It has a really good story even if it is a little mushy. I would give it 5 stars! Movie: I love the movie as well and I love how the director really alternated the point of view just like the author did in the book. The movie contains less details, but it is much more visual and it is as amazing as the book.
Hey peeps! I am back again! Anyway, my awesome friend, Leo, likes Legend of Zelda. So, I looked up what the main character, Link, looked like and I drew him. When Leo saw this he said it looked cool and I am hoping you think so too! Oh, and one more thing. If you're wondering why Blue Box (I think that's what they are called) is saying, "Watch out!" then it is because Leo sent me a video of a song on YouTube. I will not post the link, but the song is called Watch Out. Thanks for checking out my art! Let me know if you like Legend of Zelda and I will draw more art based on it.
Day before quarantine: The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day to walk outside and bike. I neatly fold my clothes and read a particularly interesting book about magic story portals. I can't wait until tonight, when we have movie night. Those nights only happen twice a week. At dinner, we have sushi, which costs A LOT . We talk all evening about school, work, and other stuff. Sadly we don't eat ice cream because, well, we have a diet. Who wants to look fat in front of people? After dinner, we watch a movie and go to bed at exactly 9:00. This specific Friday feels good. Day in quarantine: I drag myself out of bed, and the chirping birds combined with the morning sun is killing my eyes and ears. I stay in my pajamas and read an interesting book about the process of grass growing. After reading, I nap for the rest of the day...until my mom calls me for dinner. We don't have takeout. We don'e have a nice family meal. Instead we eat leftovers...
